not rare and not from CHINA. that 1 is a baby.

was in Ft Worth in the 90's. we caught a huge bug similar to the 1 pictured. barmaid used a gallon pickle jar to catch it in. checked back a week or so later. bug came from SA blew in with a storm.

thing was huge. wings like a dragonfly but larger than a moth, more like a small bird. tail was like a scorpian, nobody wanted near this thing. was at least 4" wing span, so double OP's.

2020 The SHTF literally as TP ran out.

we went from being over the target, to actually being the target. too close to the truth.

So we are living in the Jurassic era? These scientists don't try and make sense anymore.
1. “You can’t fire a cannon, from a canoe!”
2. “Strength is gained in the range it is trained.”
3. “If it doesn’t swim, run, or fly, or isn’t green and grow in the ground, don’t eat it.”
4. “Know that you have complete control over what you put in your mouth. No one ever ate anything by accident.”

I think I've seen this before in Texas. Possibly?
Goodbye, halcyon days...

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.

There is another theory mentioned, which states that this has already happened.

Re: Giant flying bug found at Arkansas Walmart turns out to be "super-rare" Jurassic-era insect
What a bunch of nonsense reporting.

Giant lacewings were once found across the entire continent, but by the 1950s, the insect had been destroyed in the eastern part of North America.

Okay... if it was around during the 1950s, it is not some rare Jurassic-era insect.

Re: Giant flying bug found at Arkansas Walmart turns out to be "super-rare" Jurassic-era insect
the biggest moth, that i've ever seen, was here in arkansas.
it was between the edge of the front door and the porch light
one night. it would fly at me when i tried to open the
door. at first i thought it was a bird.
i finally distracted it, somehow, and got in after several
tries.

They know almost nothing about the insect world. They estimate they only have identified 10% of the possibly existing insects on earth. I'm confidant a few smaller animals from that era exist, namely the Plesiosaur, that is a favorite of scientists as well.
