Yet ANOTHER very large quake in S. America today
coming in at a 7.2 pt. (downgraded to a 6.9 pt.c) in
Equador. From early video coming in...seems like this
could be another situation where loved ones become
separated--the theme of this thread w/Snow Patrol music
video. The words are chilling. GOOD IDEA TO HAVE A PLAN!

I Just had to make this its own thread today.

I was just "poking around" in the GLP ARCHIVES FILES.
I reviewed some really remarkable and "classic" past GLP threads
in the archives we have been so fortunate to be able to access on our Forum.

Some of those past threads...have actually changed my life (I'm serious!)
NOTE (IMHO):
What generally distinguishes a "classic GLP thread" from
a "new GLP thread style" (beyond just the 1st one being
at least a few years old and in the GLP ARCHIVES...) is
"Classics" tended to be long (some call "wall-of-text"
which some would take the time to read & enjoyed them) versus
the 2nd (new ones) being ONE-LINE-TWITTERS or something
a little less "deep thought content" like a picture or
a music video without any text--with the author being
ABSENT for the remainder of the thread discussion.


I'm sure you all have your own "favorites"--some are
longer threads, some just ONE TYPED LINE CONNECTING WITH
TWITTER, BITSHUTE, ETC. but all well worth your time.
Here are a couple of my own "fav's" and a TIMELY music video
that I think says it all when we're "embracing the tragedy"
of many of the reported "UNPRECEDENTED storms/quakes/solar
flares" the past few weeks--what are your favorites from the "oldies on GLP?" Have ANY changed your life (for the better?)

With the INSANE WEATHER having "gasoline" poured on top of it
--TODAYS X-2 SOLAR FLARE...I reviewed A COUPLE of older threads

CME UPDATE: A coronal mass ejection (CME) is seen emerging following the X2 solar flare around AR 3234 today. A expected, it is heading to the west. Only a glancing blow at best could be expected within 72 hours, however it should mostly be a miss.

Some folks new to GLP don't realize that such "marathon
threads" even exist--yet this example with Storm2Come...
is just one of dozens like it. Some even continue and update
for YEARS! The several contributing GLP members who also
selflessly provide us with interesting up-dates and new videos on topics that you just won't hear on mainstream media just work "behind the scenes" for free, here.

threads new and old on the topic. Terrific!
