It's not Mexican. It does make a good Mulee sauce.

The original recipe was from a burnt pot. They decided it had a unique flavor and that's what Hershey's WAS. They ruined it a long time ago, it was good until maybe 1987.

I despise most of the high end flavored chocolates but nothing has replaced Hershey's although I don't eat it anymore . It's about time people do. It's all about the coco and where you get it and how you cook it.

Like all corporations Hershey's -Marrs sucks and lost a lot of quality over the years. I don't eat grocery store candy anymore. I miss Reeses cups from 60 years ago, they were so good, nothing like today.
