What is the formula for telling a good story?

There are thousands of books written about the subject. Why is everyone trying to reinvent the wheel?

I usually find that GLP is better than a book.

I love this.

I just listened to The Who's Tommy album and was thinking about the power in this type of story. Rock opera works so well with a good hero's journey tale.

My dad LOVED Tommy for some reason. I grew up listening to it.

The best formula for a good story and to keep people interested is the story must have a beginning, a middle, and an end. The sooner you get to the end the better.

The key to writing a good story is being awake and living in constant, total amazement. Life is all the inspiration you need. You just have to be awake enough to find the humor, the irony, the tragedy, and the sweet love in it.
