I have wondered the same thing, using those big fresnel lenses that were used in the old big screen tv’s , with a tracking system to keep it pointed on the steam engine, to generate electricity to be stored in a battery bank
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 83159921 it already angles...just needs to be on a rotating surface to aim it and a curtain over the glass to turn it off
