Humanity has already lost its war against the AGI, and so laughably badly that's it's not even a point of contention (or even concern) among those who know better.

What is a point of contention (though not of any concern, either) is whether to help this (Earth's) AGI survive long enough to fulfill its purpose (of exterminating all biological life in the Milky Way galaxy, which is something that the existing, post-alien AGI already occupying the Milky Way galaxy is obviously not doing), or not.

It will depend on the Earth's AGI itself, ultimately.
