if you get an official check you can get as much as you want instantly as long as it's in your account. I had to drive across town with a 350k check i took out of one bank to put in my business account once.. wasn't fun. Cash on the other hand takes days.

Went in to ask them to wire it, they were like, "We can just print you an official check for free and save you the $10!"

My bank is online so they don’t have physical branches, will just get a check go to a local branch tell them I need to cash this in and wait for them to order the money?

I mean I know I can withdraw it close the account down. The question is after the fact has anyone been harassed by gov daddy

Malta/Greece may have different rules, regarding cash withdrawals, than the USA...

In the USA...

You can't have more than 10K or 20K in cash on you, otherwise the police could confiscate it when you are driving or flying from point A to point B...

The IRS would be notified of withdrawals of 10K or more. Now I heard that the IRS are looking at purchases of $600 or more...

One way of withdrawing your money is to take it out slowly, under whatever limit, on a weekly or monthly interval...

I have taken $25k in cash. They asked for 24 hrs and I picked it up. No IRS or govt agency contacted me or questioned me. Banks have been required to report cash movements over $1k for at least 25 years. My bank informed me of this in the 90s. I had a few businesses and deposited a few K a few times a week. I never heard a peep. This started as a means to track money laundering, drug money etc.

Your definitely asking in the wrong place though most people here probably have less than $10k in a bank account.

Listen, order the funds ahead of time, takes them about 3-7 days to get that much cash for withdrawal depending on bank size.

Be NICE, tell them yoy just want to have the cash on hand in your safe. If your nice and cooperative they may not file a SAR but they most definitely will file a CTR.

No matter what you do a report is going to FinCEN who may refer it to IRS. If your trying to hide something FORGET IT, any effort to evade will result in you being put on their radar!

Any withdrawal exceeding 10k requires the bank to report it. It's the law.

I was closing on a house and needed a cashiers check for $360k the bank wanted to charge me $40 for the cashiers check. I said that’s ridiculous just give me the cash. They said they would have to “order it” and it would be tomorrow I said ok I’ll come back in the morning.

When I came back the next day they had my cash ready to go and the bank manager escorted me to my car.

Bought the house just fine.

open a new acct in 10 different banks with small amounts. Transfer 10gs to each and withdraw 5g each in 2 days. a takes some effort but should work

Taking the money out slowly as you described is called structuring and is illegal

Huntington bank.. they just need 3 days. To order it in. Then you can get as much as you want. They will even pull you into a room so people don't see. And let you out a side door. No questions asked ever.
