In the '70s, we watched "Happy Days" and we longed for the '50s. I wonder if the '50s were as great as they seemed. The '70s didn't seem all that great at the time. But in retrospect . . .

Almost without fail, the previous decade was better than the current decade. Better, simpler, more manageable, more affordable. The rate of deterioration has increased since we achieved the Y2K milestone, and the current acceleration is alarming.

The 70’s were a riot! I was a teen out partying and getting laid, i worked part time and had plenty of money, gas was like 30 cents a gallon , you could take a date out for a nice dinner for $5 , cops rarely fucked with you, girls were in nice shape and loved to fuck , the music was great
