I do remember world- wide backlash, protests calling for embargoes, sanctions, and whatever would hurt China... but I was only nine, living with normies who worshipped Disney.
I know that abouts 88, it all started sliding sideways and down for me, by the end of 89, life was unrecognizable. It never recovered for me. My family doesn't remember anything about anything, ever, as if I have fictionalized my whole life.
