and that's what it's designed to do.

Dupe the masses into a cashless society, backed by thin air and digital numbers in space controlled by the Fed Reserve.

I remember trying to buy Ivermectin during covid, damn near impossible

So I reckon if the government wants to stop crypto trading it would do so very easily.

Maybe the plan is to get lots of people investing trillions in crypto....only to make it all disappear into thin air, where it originally came from.

rant

apples and oranges

the govt-backed cryptos and "Fed" coins are traceable, trackable crap. everyone knows that.

decentralized crypto has nothing to do with that. it's digital freedom. you can completely decouple from the fiat system if you want, and you can do it fully anonymously if you're smart about it, AND even move to a country where it's legal tender now (el salvador)

Crypto's devaluation was probably behind part of the "losses" that SVB incurred, that lead to it's "failure".
After so many crypto exchange failures and more coming, even if the coins were "safe", they would not be usable or easily exchanged.
So in the long run they are just another fad. One who's time in the spotlight is almost up. It started when governments started regulating exchanges and taxing profits on crypto.

well, you'll be worrying more about food if that happens.

IF it does. pretty unlikely. maybe have some cash and silver coins on hand in case?

This is the financial equivalent of the Prohibition.

not sure that bill or language would make it "illegal" (sort of unclear if you read it) but it definitely moves it in that direction. there would be a lot of push back if it were outright made illegal in the USA. that would not be popular.

lmao
They have ALLOWED it to continue till now - and will continue to allow it until they have learned what they need to know.
It only exists now because they allow it.
Once the Centralized system is in place, they will make it illegal for the rest.
They made owning gold illegal don't forget.

You really don't know how TPTB operate.
And as for shutting down the internet -------- they don't mind doing that too.
They murdered thousands of Americans on 9-11 for their agenda, shutting down the internet is easy.

it's easier to justify lockdowns and vaccines for a scary phantom virus - public bought into it

it's a lot harder to justify banning crypto - which has become so popular, ubiqutous, used by so many.

the public would resist that a lot more and it would spook even the dumbest to sit up and take notice.

so i dont think they'll aggressively ban.

instead they'll have two systems - get everyone hooked up to CBDC, and try to push crypto to the curb or de-couple it from digital fiat, i.e. ban its trading as an asset. but then there would still be a decentralized network that would exist and cant be banned.

How can you not understand the basis for crypto is found in banks? Or what do you expect to exchange it for? What's it valued in? Hard earned fucking labour wherever they keep it

Decentralised currency isn't an investment platform.

You take 10 litres of water, store it away for an emergency.

Your 10 Litres of water doesn't magically increase to 100 Litres.

If your 10 Litres of water is increased to 100 Litres, it means 90 Litres was stolen from someplace or someone.
