Although the plan to raise the pension age from 62 to 64 passed the upper house on Thursday, ministers realised they might not have the numbers in the lower house.

Prime Minister Élisabeth Borne will now rely on a constitutional procedure.

We know why. First they don't want to pay back any retirement at all and want everyone in that age group dead. That's just my opinion. Likely measures will be taken in US to prevent pay out of retirement before long.

They are not simply protesting about the retirement age, they are protesting about the trashing of their civilisation in front of their eyes by a government that wants to enforce measures without a parliament.
