'Americans should be eating bugs': Utah middle school teacher slammed for 'indoctrinating' students by setting an essay about how

Students at a Utah middle school were given insects to eat as part of a project on climate change and how eating bugs could save the environment from cows which are 'killing the world.'

According to Amanda Wright, a mother who spoke with Fox News Digital, her daughter Saige, 12, and other sixth-graders were offered extra credit if they ate the insects.

The children were tasked with writing essays on why Americans should be eating bugs, to which Wright's child took issue. Her daughter asked the teacher if she could cover an alternative perspective to which the educator told her no.

The essay was titled 'Why America Should be Eating Bugs' and students were instructed to argue only one point of view - that people should replace cows with insects as their primary source of protein because cows give off methane which attacks the Ozone layer.

Wright told Fox she believed her child was subjected to 'indoctrination' and recorded an interaction with teacher Kim Cutler who said there is 'only one right answer' to the essay when she was pressed on differing opinions.

They don't really care whether the truth gets out, because the public no longer knows what's meant by "the truth."

Well, I mean, no one can tell the difference anymore between what's real and what's fake.

Anyway, the point is, I can tell you all of this, right out in the open, because it doesn't matter who knows about it. They won't know whether to believe it or not.-

Sick of these people. Instead of being "slammed" maybe something a bit more is called for:

When I was in the boy scouts, back in the 1960s, there was kind of a link between the boy scouts and the Green Berets. A lot of Green Berets came out of the boy scouts or explorer scouts.

We used to go out and live off of the land, which was okay, but I was not going to eat fucking bugs. I could eat plants, wild game, but bugs were never an option.

Try making me eat that shit, even back then, I would have shoved that shit right down your throat.

I would tell that bitch she is more than welcome to eat all the fucking bugs she could get her hands on.

Humans cannot eat bugs. They are packed full of parasites that our systems can’t digest.

Eating bugs is a horrible death sentence.
