This makes it a pain in the ass when it’s your party out of power but there’s really limited actual substantive movement that’s possible in 4 or 8 years.

Look at countries that have *actual* strong men or military dictatorships, they are only popular if it’s *your* guy in charge, only way to change those is violent uprising…. And I think most rational people don’t want that.

Believe it or not, people wore face masks before covid. Some people don't like to breathe dust/pollen/etc. Seems like you aren't very smart to use that example.
