Depleted uranium (DU) is natural uranium that has been changed by removing the more radioactive isotopes, leaving it about 99.8% 238U. Depleted uranium has 40% less radioactivity than natural uranium.

Gavrilov added that Russia would consider it as using a “dirty bomb” if NATO supplies Kyiv with such shells for “heavy military equipment,” adding they would be responsible for all the “ensuing consequences.”

The COtW used them in Iraq & Afganistan and look at them, they're fine now.

Tell me you have no idea what depleted uranium is without telling me you have no idea what depleted uranium is.

Not all uranium is radioactive or suitable for nuclear power or weapons use. Depleted uranium is what's leftover after you extract all the useful for nuclear stuff uranium from a given stack of uranium ore.

On balance it's really not any worse than tungsten to make ammunition out of for people environmentally.

What it is entirely useless for is nuclear programs.

You apparently have no idea what depleted uranium is. It isn't useable as nuclear fuel any more, but that does not mean it is not radioactive and is as harmless as tungsten.

A lot of people in Kuwait; or allies in the war, reported miscarriages, horrible birth defects and permanent increase in cancer. Many soldiers serving at the time also got all kinds of cancers and other problems.

DU burns and microlizes as it strikes a target and the pentagons own health reports said at that time there were no air filters to filter out the particles of DU. They advised rejecting it for use in ammunition. George Bush Sr, the first openly globalist president had it approved and used.

The US military has been salting the earth with slightly radioactive compounds aka WMDs for decades now. There will more than likely be increased birth defects, miscarriages and cancers for generations to come to those in the battlefields.
