Putin can claim what he wants does not make it so. China needs the USA as a trading partner and the west for that matter, we prop up their economy as they prop up ours. It is mutual.

USA has reusable rocket first stages that can autonomously land vertically. (SpaceX Falcon)

USA has a reusable space capsule (SpaceX Crew Dragon) that can carry 7 astronauts.

Russian Soyuz is limited to 3 cosmonauts.

USA has a reusable autonomous spaceplane (X-37) that can spend a whole year in orbit doing intelligence missions.

USA just flew a man-rated capsule round the moon and back succesfully. - Russia can't do that.
