Something's not right. The Ronald McDonald that I know was taller, had a longer neck, and wasn't so round in the face.

There are so many of these Mandela Effects happening these days that it is almost impossible to keep up with them all.

There are many Ronalds who are employed by corporate to do public appearances. There is one guy who does a "region," car shows, bicentennial celebrations, etc.
