Q: Where does it say that it happens before the tribulation?

Q: Can you help me understand why you believe we're going to be raptured when Revelation says believers will be killed?

For all the saints and elect of God are gathered, prior to the tribulation that is to come, and are taken to the Lord lest they see the confusion that is to overwhelm the world because of our sins.
This sermon was written between A.D. 374–627, well before the nineteenth century.
Kinda blows your 1830 statement up. |

There are some who heed fables and have itching ears and heap to themselves false teachers for the last days. They will not heed prudent preparation for the great tribulation just around the corner. And yes, we WILL be here for the tribulation show. |

I provide a lot of evidence for that and the real timing in the first few posts of this thread: Thread: Rapture Harpazo is 40 days into the Day of the Lord. According to the favorite verse 1 Thes 4:16-17 if you want to find the harpazo rapture, find the resurrection. 1 Cor 15:22-26 says there are only 2 resurrections: 1. jesus the first fruits 2. Those that are Christ's at His coming (Greek: parousia - bodily arrival). If the resurrection is before the tribulation and it is the second of 2 resurrections, then how are the people who die in the tribulation period resurrected? So the pre-trib rapture does not work. There are several examples of why it does not. I was raised to believe the pre-trib rapture until God got a hold of me and had me really look at it. And that's when I found out that 98.5% of the church is wrong on this and are in for a HUGE shock coming up. If I wanted to insert an error into the churches, the lazy man's way is to corrupt the theology of a few teachers at seminaries and they will multiply the error through all the churches. this is how the error became so pervasive. |
