I don't understand crypto, I wish I did. But my mind can't wrap around it... it seems confusing. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 84658640 When everything goes to blockchain I'm going to be lost it is easy.... when u place your money to buy one bitcoin, those who have lots of those, goten from past for nothing, get raise in value.... u do not... u still stand on that one coin.... and waiting for someone else to buy it for higher price.... otherwise, value of it, falls... Just like Government issued Fiat like the dollar. Actually there is a huge difference you have omitted there will only every be 21 million bitcoins not one more than that, where the USD can be printed infinitely and has no gold, oil, or hard assets to back it, the government doesn't print those USD's the Federal Reserve does a private corporation that is not an office of government. USD's are backed by debt, and worthless paper backing paper that is also worthless, yet is used as a reserve currency to settle payments in international markets, and is forced on the world by the american military industrial complex. The BRICS are changing this and many in the world are turning their backs on the USD, even Saudi has apllied to the BRICS along with many resource rich nations and states that the americans have waged war both physical and economic on for decades. Some say this american financial system exists to this day because Kennedy was assasinated by thise that wanted to stay of gold/silver/oil currencies as kennedy wanted to return to the gold standard. The first currency that returns to gold/silver/oil backed currency will be the winner as a reserve currency provided there is transparency in the assets backing it. Gaddafi was killed and Libyan gold taken by the world bankera because he was just about to open the bank of africa, that was going to use Libyan currency and would be fully backed by gold/silver/oil, for this he was killed by cia backed rebels, even Canada bombed libyan canals that was providing water to desrt areas and bringing more farming and food production to the region. that would be earths resources, not theirs/those who would like to back up them selfs upon others/someone else's treasure.... so, that will not work either... only value they can give is them self's.... personally... |

Yes I was being somewhat flippant.. point is all "money" is backed upon the faith that you can give it to the next guy in exchange for something material. Shells, shiny rocks, beads, .22 ammo, cans of beans, slips of paper, digital numbers in a ledger.. all of it is based on the idea that it "stores" the value of your risk, time and/or labor so it can be traded a later date at a predictable value to others. In the end all money will be debased by governments if they can get control of it- and they always get control. And if they can't they will destroy it. . Quantum computing - which YOU KNOW the large governments of the world already have - can easily mine all of the bitcoin they want while mining can still occur. They can cause dips anytime they want by selling -- thus breaking faith in the system. The faith which as shown above, is so important to making something "money" Yes, there are limits to how long and to what degree they can do this, but just look at any thread here on bitcoin.. it doesn't have the required faith required to succeed as money right now- does it? Its also possible that it was introduced by parties unknown , and then promoted to a premiere position, just to collapse it and muddy the water should anyone have the bright idea to create an uncontrollable currency.. I'll bet you did!!! Crypto is software, douchebag. You are buying a piece of that software that you believe has a chance at the next Financial Evolution. Would youve invested in Microsoft pre-IPO if you had the chance? I'll bet you would you silly little bottom-feeder. Not a very smart person, now, are you? Microsoft and NothingCoin are not even close to the same asset class. NothingCoin is comparable to a slot machine, of which pays out in tokens, of which needs fiat redemption at the cashiers cage. Silver coin always at hand, no electricity or software or internet or computer required. No hurdle to hope to clear to land safely. A brain is a terrible thing to waste. |

I covered that bitcoin won't be the end all and be all, there needs to be a new similar to bitcoin, but backed by tangibles, in an open transparent manner. |

Silver and gold maxists are funny as fuck, when I send you a bitcoin you know full well its a bitcoin, when you give me a gold coin how do I know it's actually gold, maybe its got some other metal in it. But a gold backed open transparent crypto well that could be a game changer. |
