I’m always open to alternative explanations. There are two phenomena that flat earth arguments can’t navigate.

1)the coriolis effect- angular deflection perpendicular to the axis of rotation.

Snipers use a calculation to make extra long shots to compensate for this effect. I have actual experience with this. I was in a platoon with sa sniper squad.

2) objects hidden by the horizon.

Hopping between oil rigs when offshore fishing this becomes evident. There are enormous drilling platforms offshore which become visible from the top down when viewed with binoculars.

I’ve yet to see anyone espousing flat earth beliefs share anything that can explain these phenomena within the framework of their belief. I’m not trying to be rude, I would really listen if you could debunk these two things. Thanks in advance.

As for the subject matter of this thread, the date of the reversal of the magnetic poles, on FE the path of the magnetic pole runs on the arc of a circle (it is not a straight line), the limit is 90 degrees from the starting point (1862). See:

For the straight line calculation, you need a definite starting point (is it 1859, 1861, or 1862) and a 38.19 degree limit.

However, this is not a proper way to find the date of the reversal of the magnetic poles: a much better solution is to take into consideration the westward precessional shift of the Sun (1.5 km / year, 4.2 m / day) and to find the outer limit (one of the two tropics).

All scientists agree the magnetic poles are moving NOW!!!

That means the poles are shifting NOW.

That process is speeding up NOW

Guess what happens next.

Probably not but you need to know that this can happen fast and be ready to evacuate your area fast when it happens.

Areas that may require fast evacuation are coast lines, tidal zones, earthquake zones (like Yellowstone and Cali) and earth plate rift zones. higher altitudes are probably safer to live. The West Coast is probably not where you want to be when the poles reverse.
