I like blackjack..win sometimes..lose sometimes..I realized every hour I work I win..so if I do gamble..its just recreation..My career was my winning gamble

Most I ever lost in Vegas: thirty five cents, one arm bandit, as a teen. The money didn't come back, I thought "this is stupid" and got bored with it.

I won 1000$ on a scratcher ticket once. Biggest win ever.

$200 from a guy who bet I couldn't eat 2 Wendy's Triple burgers in one sitting. I weighed about 120 pounds. I was so sick afterward...felt like I was on drugs.

Keep in mind we worked there for $7/HR so $200 was a GARGANTUAN amount of money.

The guy also put his phone in the industrial microwave we had because it got wet and he thought it would dry it quickly. Oh that was pretty funny.

I won $100K betting in a contest on the Kentucky Derby when American Pharaoh won. One of the coolest experiences of my life.

The first time that I ever played slots, after being talked into going to a casino (the first of two times I've gone in my life), I chose a quarter machine & decided I was going to spend $20, and that was it.

After playing for about 10 minutes and down several dollars, I hit a jackpot, and out came 1000 quarters - $250.

I cashed that out, put it in my pocket, and left.

I'm not a gambler.

Nope, I don't even trade cryptos or stocks... other than long term stuff that I never pay attention to.

I turned 3k into 40k on a high leverage btc long.. cashed out and then bought spot thinking that was the safe play... Then it bled for over a year back to 3k.

You are lucky, $140, lost it all but made the $140 back within an inch of it's life. I should have cashed out when I got my $140 back but then I thought I could keep going and was out.

But the one that always haunts me is the one that got away. This past year, divisional weekend. Placed a $5 free bet on first TD scorer for the 4 games. Went all TE Kelce, Geodert, Knox and Schultz. The potential pay out was 100k

Kelce and Goedert both did their part Saturday in the first two games. Cash out being offered was around $400 going into Sunday. I will never forget the bills coming out flat that game and Jamar chase scoring the first td.

Devastating, but to add insult later that evening Schultz scores first to really drive the dagger in.

On a keno 5 spot I was playing $3 per game, within 5 minutes I hit two 4 out of 5 spots. About 5 minutes later I hit the 5 spot for 2,406....then left. Luckiest run my numbers have ever had....

I had an uncle who worked at hollywood park, horse races,

he managed to get the computer system math from someone that gave him the best odds,

it works,

but not for all the races,

he gave me a winning race one time,

i bet 20 dollars and got back 400

Greyhounds were so fun. At one point I owned a couple. They didn't do very well and retired at the farm.

Hit the 10 team parlay as a college student. Had $10 on it. The pool hall owner said it was by far their biggest payout. Bought a pool stick with some of the winnings. Still have it.

Found a tip sheet at the track for $10 and followed it’s advice. Hit a trifecta for $2k. Stayed up all night partying and missed the following day. Buddies went and bought same tip sheet and each came home with 30k.

I went to stay with a college buddy back in 1994, I was a cheap gambler. I would stock up on nickels and pay the nickel slots. You could play for hours and they'd give you lots of drinks. Then hit the cheap buffets! I never made much, but I didn't lose much, either. Used to be much better when the mob ran it!
