Why? That whole mid State area off the I-5 sucks. I drove bumper to bumper for over 300 miles in that area. I never saw so many Ford F-150s in my whole life, all white ones. It was one of the most terrifying days of my life, I would never do it again, and to see what?
The I-5 in California has to be shut down and repaved, they have to face it. I couldn't believe it even qualifies as a freeway, it was more like a back alley for hundreds of miles. Then you come to Bakersfield and the shock if you've never seen it. Watch out for the Basques, they do not want you there. Please eat and leave.
