There is a lot of paid shilling happening online which wants you to believe that Rings of Power was popular, successful and a billion dollars well spent.

Up until now, Amazon has worked extremely hard to suppress any information about viewership aside from the season premier.

Now we know why. Over 65% of people who watched some part of the season decided that it was not worth their time to finish.

I understand that some people enjoyed it. After all, a third of viewers did finish it.

For a billion dollar show however, that is a terrible bar to set, and should be considered a failure just from that perspective.

Its not whether they decided to watch it or not. Its whether they decided to finish it after beginning.

The article says that Netflix shows with a sub 50% finish rating get cancelled. By comparison, SquidGame had an over 85% finish rating.

It shows objectively, without any propaganda, what people thought of the show.
