I’m just asking others, not really thinking about it much. I’ve got the industrial strength waterproof mascara from Lancôme so I’m good to go when I need eyelashes.

My brother in law had eyelashes that interlaced when he blinked. They were like camel eyelashes.
Just a good ol' boy, mechanic, drank, smoked, killed and barbecued his own pigs.

Not me I have dry eye and meibomian gland dysfunction so I can't even wear eyeliner or any makeup which is sad coz I could sure use it. Lol

I’ve tried them but I can’t figure it out. Seems so simple but it’s one of those things.
When I glue it on, they never curve right and the outer corner always comes off.. Looks like I tapped a fake spider to the middle of my eyelids.

Strip lashes definitely don’t feel natural to me. They feel much heavier, clunkier. Most have to be trimmed to fit the lash line, too. Then there’s the fun experience of glueing them on evenly… praying one doesn’t fall off into the soup… or come up lost somewhere between the party and the sheets… or stuck to someone’s netherworld.

I have extensions; classic, natural 7mm to 10mm lengths, d-curl. They’re “permanent” and grow out with the natural lashes. I get them in-filled every two to three weeks to keep them looking natural. Full upper lash set took took almost three hours to have done. In-fills take about an hour. Personally, it’s worth it.

IF you ever decide to have extensions, look for a licensed aesthetologist. Someone who is properly trained, passed both theoretical and practical levels, and has client portfolio. A qualified aesthetologist assesses the health of your lashes and eyelids before applying extensions. If there’s any questions/doubts, most will recommend seeing a medical professional for treatment. An important point to consider, eye health.

I do not recommend going to a cut-rate, pick-a-look place. Too many “lash girls” now offer extensions and have only watched videos and practiced on silicone eye forms. Their goals are to maximize profit and turn around customers as quickly as possible. Inexperience and speed are a recipe for disaster. The disasters I’ve seen walk into the spa have been… interesting. Then they complain about the higher cost and longer application time to have the botched extensions removed and done properly.

If you want to go full glam, extensions go up to 16mm length, come in all different colours and curl patterns. Each extension is individually attached, either singly or in clusters. Look so much nicer than strip lashes with loads of eyeliner to cover the glue line and blend natural/false lash “roots”.

Op they will strip the natural lashes. Yes I’ve tried them. For free one time from a lady training - they effed up and invited me back for the manager to do them. Felt strangely ashamed to compromise naturalness tho. It is good not having the mascara though.

I also tried the eyelash perm lol. They put a little solution on the eye lash and tape them upwards lolol. ***Laughing at myself rn.*** ahhh god
