I think we've entered into the final phase of Terence McKenna's time wave...
Perhaps Terence's timing was off, but the theory seems spot on point...

At the end of history, novelty becomes so concresced that there can be no more of it in historical spacetime...

You can feel it...

Yes, but the really interesting part is how our neurology now adapts to instant manifestation.. and which alternate neurologies cannot. I'm pretty sure TMK, for all that I respect him, was only allowed to continue his work under alphabet-agency rules, and he was simply the friendly, open disclosure of something far more nasty they know, and will try to hide until the very last minute they can.

Ok but how can you prove it with data?

Imagination is an excellent tool and I applaud creative universal-theories-of-everything. But one thing to keep in mind is that you have zero idea what it was like to exist in the era(s) before you were born and so you really can come to few meaningful conclusions about exactly how different those times were from today. Yes there are annecdotes, but the saying that there is nothing new under the sun holds water.

For ex., you might say, well, "phones", surely they are singular, no generation had anything like it. But ah you would be wrong. Repeatedly totalitarian governments would make their subjects possess or even carry items that enforced the mindset desired. Mao's little red book, for ex., basically did then what a "phone" does now. It kept folks in the "matrix", so to speak.

So, data, man. How can you prove it? How can one even quantify novelty?

Empires rise and fall and have over and over again. When they fall, the culture comes unglued and times get weird. It happens. Doesn't mean the "end" of "time" or whatnot. Just the end of empire.

another aspect to consider is that it would not just be events that escalate and repeat, but also the release of knowledge and unveiling in general.

here is a playlist from a very interesting thinker. i don't know how he composes these thoughts. it does feel like his topography includes psychotropics.
he pulls many references from bible passages and uses them metaphorically rather than literally.

he ultimately theorizes that this is a repeating cycle that resets right as AI goes online.

that whatever created this life and system of nature, built it like a computer program and we have broken it long ago in another cycle and the process of repetition is breaking the whole thing down into a zero point situation.

that's a very brief and general synopsis of a 4 part 4 hour series.

it's brilliant and a little scary, IMO.

anyway, someone who is a fan of terrence's process would definitely be intrigued by this guy....

here is the playlist beginning with part one:

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73781365

Eventually he turned his attention to the company that he worked for. "FEMMI is no ordinary company, Herr McKenna, please be assured of that. No. We are like a family. This is the source of our strength. And we have plans for the future. Very big plans." I only nodded, thinking it best not to inform him that I considered large mining corporations the scourge of the earth. But this devotion to his corporation was no casual matter, and he seemed unable to leave the subject alone. -True Hallucinations

He tells the story of his recruitment himself; it is really not too strange that he was forced to reach some compromise with them, and that he died of a brain tumor only 'they' could have implanted. As for the 'Anomaly'.. why, yes, of course, I'm looking forward to the fulfillment of the various Mayan prophecies he had only glimpsed in Palenque.

I must dissent because time is slowing down from my perspective. My days are indeed longer, so are my quiet times, and spaces between thoughts. Quiet the mind, you'll see time isn't doing anything but ticking.

Re: I think we've entered into the final phase of Terence McKenna's time wave...
Terence worked on his Timewave Zero idea and software from 1971 his death in 2000.

The software is only available on obsolete software and
hardware, sadly. His brother Dennis should bring out a new
version that.

What it is? Oh boy. Remember that December 21,
2012
apocalypse stuff that never came true? Obviously
the date was wrong, yeah yeah yeah, I'm moving the goalposts,
kicking the can down the road, but when you look into this,
it seems that May 15, 2040 is the new date.

I know, it could all be bullshit, but we reaching a true
apotheosis and the "elites" (EL-ites) of this world know that,
so the next 17 years will be INSANE.

We haven't seen ANYTHING yet.
The main event is coming, the final showdown of the
6,000-year-long epoch we have lived through and another
6,000 year epoch will unfold and THEN the climate
will change and everything will be BIGGER.

Or maybe nothing will happen and we'll all just be
gay/trans by 2040.

His timing was spot on. What you see around you in public today, was already a reality and in existence 10 years ago.

Yup.

Dead on the money.

The paradox for me is that I feel the maddening speed as time flies faster, see the chaos, but at the same time, am experiencing life in slow motion.

i have told people that time is exponentially speeding up as we go on past a certain point. but they just use the bullshit explanation of "your life is shorter as you get older, therefore it SEEMS like time is going faster."

this is something completely different.
