The main reason the theory of evolution was and is pushed is to get people to stop believing in GOD.

I agree that anyone can be a victim of mental illness, but some are brought on by physical ailments, some is brought on by brainwashing.

Humans created God for their own mental stability, safety net to keep them from going crazy.

Only those of us with the highest mental capacity and understanding can survive without the need of god. Unfortunately, we're only 0.02% of the population.

Religion is based on the fear of death. If people weren't afraid of dying religion would have no power over them.
