If you think he is any less of a corrupt politician in campaign mode than Trump(Build that wall), or Obama(Close gitmo), or Bush(Build that wall, reform healthcare, etc.), or Clinton, or Bush, or Reagan, or... Well look, the list goes on at least all the way back to Wilson.

It doesn't matter. It'll never matter. The president is powerless to do anything the behemoth of bureaucracy doesn't want, and powerless to not do anything the behemoth does want.

That said, if he wants the terminally cynical to actually care, he can make one campaign promise: To tear up the CIA into 1000 pieces and scatter it to the wind. Make that a highlight of his campaign and I'm sure he'll get all the votes he needs to earn himself a verse in that one song about all the assassinated people.
