Pollution fears after fishing trawler sinks-New Zealand

Environment Southland and Maritime New Zealand are this morning assessing a potential pollution risk after a fishing trawler carrying 500 litres of diesel sank in Dusky Sound in Fiordland.

Four people were rescued after the boat hit rocks shortly before 5pm yesterday, Radio New Zealand reported.

It was travelling between Dusky Sound and Breaksea Sound.
