LMAO, yeah right!

A "snowball made of ice and gas" shoots "3 billion miles" across the solar system WITHOUT melting away by the powerful Sun radiation, survives its monstrous coronal ejections and dives into it like a frog in the pond!!!!

epiclol

Dude, please....

There's no temperature in vacuum, it's neither cold nor hot, UNTIL the sun's radiation hits the surface of a given object.

That's what "scientists" and NASA tell us.

Anyway you look at it, it's a like!

The baseline temperature of outer space, as set by the background radiation from the Big Bang, is 2.7 kelvins (−270 °C; −455 °F).

yeah, litle less...

Bruh, there's a reason why they are called "sun-diving comets".

They LITERALLY dive into the sun, past the corona, so NO, they DON'T melt away.

No ice ball is supposed to survive the sun radiation past Mercury, let alone dive into the sun.

Re: Good luck explaining how a "sun-diving" comet doesn't MELT AWAY in space!
you're always free to propose your own theory.....

let me guess.....a comet is a tiny piece of frozen oxygen broke off the dome and followed an elliptical path into/around the sun due to buoyancy/density.....then sometimes a sungrazer will get the slingshot back to the dome and disappear...unless you have a telescope.....in which case you can watch it seem to go on and on until it disappears into the dome again.....

some of these telescope people can even use a magic formula to predict when the comet will come falling back from the dome many years later......

Re: Good luck explaining how a "sun-diving" comet doesn't MELT AWAY in space!
So you need to shield spacecrafts, satellites, probes, space stations from radiation, but an ice-ball can travel the solar system without melting?????

No, just no! cruise
