David Russell Gordon Davies (born 3 February 1947) is an English singer, songwriter and guitarist. He is the lead guitarist and backing singer (occasionally singing lead) for English rock band the Kinks, which also features his elder brother Sir Ray Davies.

The Tremeloes are an English beat group founded in 1958 in Dagenham, Essex, and still active today. They were part of the British Invasion, where they grew to prominence.

The Spencer Davis Group

The Spencer Davis Group werewas an English band formed in Birmingham in 1963 by Spencer Davis (guitar), brothers Steve Winwood (vocals, keyboards) and Muff Winwood (bass guitar), and Pete York (drums). Their best known songs include the UK No. 1 hits "Keep on Running" and "Somebody Help Me" and the UK and US Top 10 hits "Gimme Some Lovin'" and "I'm a Man".[1]

Steve Winwood left in 1967 to form rock band Traffic.[2] After releasing a few more singles, the band ceased to be active in 1969. Davis revived the group on two more occasions, without the involvement of the Winwood brothers, first in 1973–1974 for two more albums, and again from 2006, since when they had primarily been a touring act. Davis died on 19 October 2020, effectively ending the band.

The Condors – Set Me Free …1967
The Condors were a Nederbeat band that formed in Rotterdam, Netherlands in 1964. There's not a lot of info about Condors on line but I was able to find that he group released three singles as “The Condors” and several other as “Freddy Scott and The Condors”. The group was active from 1964-1967. Members included Fred Schot (aka: Freddy Scott) - vocals 1964-66, Peter de la Haye - bass, Ed de Gelder - guitar, and piano, Aad Ras - guitar, Ben Schaap - drums and Wim Schreinders - vocals 1966-67.
