When you do unlock your bodies energy (orgone blocks, chi, kundalini, etc) if done wrong you will experience some health side effects,

and to those who believe in that sort of thing, your entire belief structure may come back and appear as demon possession, etc at the time.

This is the same thing as st. augustine going off alone and having his terrifying visions.
