This drone looks much larger than the little one at the Kremlin. If it’s a Russian Kosar surveillance drone, it has a range of around 275 miles, giving enough range to fly to the target area, loiter, then return.

So the usually reliable OSINTdefender disagrees with this one. I’m not sure which is correct, but logic tells me that with this thing having been spotted more than an hour before they shot it down, there was plenty of time to confirm the identity and then issue a shoot down order.
