You missed the point. Some but not all conservatives are making a BIG deal about LGBTQ's because we are gearing up for Election 2024.

How many state legislators have anti-LGBTQ laws out just this year. It's being weaponized by the far right. Nobody else really cares as the number of affected people are less than gun violence in this country.
