Anybody born with a perfectly round, small dark face freckle that became itchy & became raised (sorta like a tiny mole)?

It's weird. You know those red spots you get on your skin? Well, like that but dark brown. So, I had, not freckles like a redhead (those are shapeless splotches) but tiny perfectly round dark brown freckle like spots, more than 1, perfectly aligned on my face. Not raised, round. Born with them. One day, maybe 20 years go, one started itching. I scratched it off my face, and it turned tiny and slightly raised but I removed most of it. It's barely visible now.

Now it's another. It was smaller than the first and it's now become bigger (way less than 1mm, though!) It's been itching some days and others not. Now it's itching again and it's grown (raised from the skin).

What causes that? Anyone experienced this? (PS: I don't believe in quacks nor cancer! So I'm seeking accurate answers, if possible.)
