What it would mean to the middle class pocket books in terms of dollars spent per year. This is scary! $6.00 X 20 (gallon tank) = $120.00 @ 15 mpg = 300 miles $120.00 X 52 weeks = $6,240.00 per year on fuel. 6,240.00 X 2 (two vehicles) = 12,480.00 per year for fuel. If the family was smart they would switch to a Honda Civic Hybrid or Toyota Prius and get 50 mpg per vehicle $6.00 x 12 (gallon tank) = $72.00 @ 50 mpg = 600 miles $72.00 x 26 weeks (because they only have to fill up half as often) = $1872.00 per year on fuel $1872.00 x 2 (two vehicles) = $3,744.00 per year for fuel $12,480.00 - $3,744.00 = $8,736.00 IN SAVINGS!!! What's the problem again? |

This is scary! we could all vote for Billery or Obama who will change/fix it all and we will all have health care, (this was missed in the equation, what if someone got sick?), be employed living the good life cuz the govt would fix it all and we would no longer have worries.. problem solved! |
