I'm getting the sense that there is no point to life, and nothing to learn. We have no valid answers to any of our biggest questions

Maybe it's all wishful thinking to imagine we are here to 'learn' and 'grow.'

The heavens remain silent. The universe indifferent to humans. Same as it ever was.

Maybe it's too hard a truth for most people to swallow..that there is no point in being here..and anything learned vanishes when our consciousness dies.

Has there ever been a verifiable miraculous or supernatural event in all of human history? We're told that miracles have ceased..God has stopped dealing directly with humans during this 'dispesation.' After a half century of me living in a completely natural universe..these excuses sound hollow.

It is pretty ridiculous. We're born into a web of lies and if you're inclined to go searching for the truth, it only raises more questions. It's all very smug and secretive.

whatever the point is, im convinced its not to be a slave to the system for 50 years and die. there is something were not perceiving, maybe not capable of it yet. the answer lies outside of the system we are told we have to participate in.

But there're better questions out there, OP. Hang tough.

humans on earth are like a video rental store to aliens - they tap into our experiences and live them for fun.

That is what we are - an experience rental store.

Answers come from deep inside. One must remain still in stituational awareness to receive insights. The outer is an illusion.

Nothing new under the sun.

Read the book of Ecclesiastes.

However, there is always something new to learn, because it's impossible to learn everything in one lifetime.

And the point to life, is to love.

Our questions will be answered when we reach the other side. Doesn't do us much good now, though, hey?

God has a sense of humor.

What about fighting back? Righting wrongs? Maybe that is the point of life, not to just lie down and die.

There is no point to life.

No reason for life.

And in the end...no result from life.

100 years from now nothing you have said or done will matter.

5 trillion years from now this entire planet will just be atoms.

And in the end even the atoms decay into energy.

Its all for nothing.

It all ends in nothing.

And it all means nothing.

Humans have a couple curses related to our brains. The first is the concept of love and 2nd is the concept of importance. Both of these make us achieve amazing things, but also bring a shit ton of despair.

This is why religion is prevalent in all societies throughout history, we need somewhere to channel all those emotions. That’s why the science based atheists are so depressed and gloom all the time. They have realize they aren’t loved and have no importance….but they need both to be happy. I’m not religious, but I am an ally of religion because I have realized how crucial it is for the well being society. Plus I see how dangerous worshipping government is.

I feel like I've learned and advanced a lot, spiritually

of course, if it all gets wiped again, it is certainly pointless
