With the circuit breakers. id be very suprised if it ever crashed more than 1 or 2k in a single day DOW points, which thats a huge decline but still only a small percent.

The stock market would be halted a few times in that day preventing an all out collapse, but if it keeps going down nonstop it will surely cause panic

The real crash is when that happens multiple days in a row

The big boys didn't have enough metal to cover their physical inventory, so didn't they make deals to dump the contracts and give customers cash or stock instead?

That would mean they never had physical inventory to sell-off.

Seems more like BRICS is dumping metal to join the club and short JP Morgan or something.

Last time someone used This is it ..it was Michael Jackson for his show and we all know how it finished.

Back in 1929 when the market was in the tail end of the Roaring Twenties, financial analyst Irving Fisher bragged proudly that "We are on the permanent plateau of prosperity". Then the market crashed over 75% in a matter of days. Mr Fisher then put forward his position on the debt deflation theory of a great depression. That depression lasted 15 years until the end of WW2 but the market did not reach its 1920's peak until the 1950s. We are in for a far bigger crash than 1929 - this is the beginning of a hyper deflation that will wipe out every single asset class, except for gold and silver. If you are not into precious metals, you will be wiped out.
