It's a Tornado Watch not a Warning...big difference. "Watch" is a possibility & a "Warning" is a confirmation

Jean's Healthway in Ava, top floor and roof gone, Pet store roof was ripped and thrown into building across from square.
Just north of square O'Reillys, hotel and businesses are flattened. Some damage to local High School. All power is out and working off emergency backup power only at this time. This track of storms is gaining strength and should continue to do so during reheating of the day. This is a long squal line so stay alert. Anyone in the path of this storm should expect damaging winds in excess of 75 mph and possible tornadoes.

One death already reported from early morning storms.
From Arkansas:
Police in Siloam Springs, Arkansas say there has been one death as a result of Friday morning's storm. A 15 year old girl was killed when a tree fell through the bedroom where she was sleeping.

A 10 year old boy was rescued from the same room and transported to Siloam Springs Memorial Hospital. He is in good condition and will be released.

City officials say at approximately 4:30 a.m. the City of Siloam Springs experienced damage from straight line winds.

The damage includes trees down, traffic lights out and power outages throughout the city.

The public schools are closed and officials advise residents to stay off the street while they assess the damage and restore power.
