Every time I went into the Target store, there would hardly be any merchandise. C'mon, do you really think in Liberalsville Canada, they wouldn't be able to make it? There's even more to the story. Their overconfidence was absolutely stunning. They assumed Canadians would instantly change loyalties. They assumed they could treat Canada like just another US state. I know firsthand they behaved as if they were doing Canada a favor. Some executives moved there. There was no contingency plan.
