Re: Does Paul Fail the Deuteronomy 13 Test?
THIS NEEDS ATTENTION!
2 Peter 3:16
16 as also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things, in which are some things hard to understand, which untaught and unstable people twist to their own destruction, as they do also the rest of the Scriptures.

Does Paul Fail the Deuteronomy 13 Test?

IS PAUL YAHWEH’S TEST??? PAUL’S VISION ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS?

Deuteronomy 13:1-5
13 If a prophet or a dreamer of dreams arises among you, and he gives you a sign or a wonder,

2 and the sign or the wonder comes to pass, of which he spoke to you, saying, “Let’s go after other gods” and let’s serve them,”

3 you shall not listen to the words of that prophet, or to that dreamer of dreams; for

YAHWEH YOUR GOD IS TESTING YOU, to know whether you love Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul.

4 You shall walk after Yahweh your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him.

5 That prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death, because he has spoken rebellion against Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt and redeemed you out of the house of bondage, to draw you aside out of the way which Yahweh your God commanded you to walk in. So you shall remove the evil from among you.

OTHER GOD’S - PAGAN PRACTICES! Christmas/Santa, Easter/Bunnies, SABBATH changed, LAWLESSNESS. That’s a new god right there.

.I am not getting into any debate with anyone over this, you can decide for yourselves. I considered the teachings of Paul in my own walk, so seeing this put together information has me shaken and taking another look at things.

Yahshua taught what Yahweh taught, this in no way changes that for me, I believe He is the prophesied Messiah!

The deuteronomy test is for having visions that promote false gods. Peter referenced Joel’s prophecy about future visions to come, so visions are normal and expected. Pauls visions supported Jesus, therefore he is certainly good to go.

Is Paul referring to being spotted eating in an inappropriate place versus eating food sacrificed to an idol? I think the reference is not about eating idol worship food, but rather being in the wrong place. The WEB doesn’t even mention eating.
 Quoting: Bibleinvestigations

Please watch this study about Paul’s vision of Yahshua.

I can’t watch because right away I see issues with his statement and I cringe. Please let me know what scripture verifies this in your opinion and I’d be happy to give my thoughts. If he references the scripture that I think he is, I completely disagree with him, but please post the scripture and your thoughts.

It just seems a bit ridiculous debating about a verse or two of scripture that some people think may prove Paul to be contradicting Jesus. You have a guy who was the greatest apostle and missionary for the new church and 2,000 years later, people are debating a few of his words. Why waste time listening to somebody else rambling on when the big picture proves his dedication to the faith? If there is a contradiction, I’m sure there is an explanation for it - just like there are explanations for contradictions in other scripture.

Psychological surveys indicate that 70 % of pastors are narcissist that crave attention and boast about themselves. Paul is one of them. His writing style is not at all humble as the other writers of the New Testament.

In addition Paul was a liar. When Paul and Barnabus went to Jerusalem to inquire of the other apostles what the new gentile Christians should do. Peter responded in Acts 15:19-21 "that they should abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from meat of strangled animals, and from blood."

Compare this to what Paul told the new Christians in Galatians chapter 2. He told them that all that Peter and the Apostles asked was "that we should continue to remember the poor."

In addition, Paul admitted in his own words to Timothy that the Churches in Asia had abandoned him in 2 Timothy 1:15 when he said "You know that everyone in the province of Asia has deserted me, including Phygelus and Hermogenes.

Now compare Paul's admission in his own words with what Jesus said to the Church at Ephesus which is located in Asia in Revelations 2:1-2 “I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people, that you have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false."

I am sure the previous videos have much more and may include these examples. However, these are the things that bothered me about Paul and brought me to the opinion that he was indeed a false apostle used by Satan to deceive many and lead them away from the teachings of Jesus.

Furthermore, Paul's claims of meeting Jesus on the road to Damascus are very similar to many others who have claimed to meet angels and other messengers from God to receive special messages and then proclaimed themselves to be anointed by God.

Time to take your blindfolds off and question everything. Much of our programming have been lies from Satan that God has allowed to test us.

Re: Does Paul Fail the Deuteronomy 13 Test?
You talk to any TRUE ]€W today, they will tell you Christianity does NOT make them jealous as Paul stated. They will tell you instead that everything about the religion is False instead because of the things Paul said. They will also tell you their GOD Yahweh that they’ve always known is completely opposite of the Christian GOD. If you study the First (Old) testament, you will come to realize they are right. Paul’s teachings have destroyed Yahshua (Jesus’) in their eyes. It’s unbelievable what’s happened. :(

I was scared when Yahweh woke me up to all of this.

Romans 11:11
11 I say then, Have they stumbled that they should fall? God forbid: but rather through their fall salvation is come unto the Gentiles, for to provoke them to jealousy.

Re: Does Paul Fail the Deuteronomy 13 Test?
When we feel alone, remember what Yahweh said to Elijah.

1 Kings 19:14-18
14 And he said, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God of hosts; because the children of Israel have forsaken Your covenant, torn down Your altars, and killed Your prophets with the sword. I alone am left; and they seek to take my life.”

15 Then Yahweh said to him: “Go, return on your way to the Wilderness of Damascus; and when you arrive, anoint Hazael as king over Syria.

16 Also you shall anoint Jehu the son of Nimshi as king over Israel. And Elisha the son of Shaphat of Abel Meholah you shall anoint as prophet in your place.

17 It shall be that whoever escapes the sword of Hazael, Jehu will kill; and whoever escapes the sword of Jehu, Elisha will kill.

18 Yet I have reserved seven thousand in Israel, all whose knees have not bowed to Baal, and every mouth that has not kissed him.”

.
Also take note here about the Wilderness (ROAD of Damascus.

Matthew 24:26
26 “If therefore they tell you, ‘Behold, he is in the wilderness,’ don’t go out; or ‘Behold, he is in the inner rooms,’ don’t believe it.

Acts 9:3-5
3 As he journeyed he came near Damascus, and suddenly a light shone around him from heaven. 4 Then he fell to the ground, and heard a voice saying to him, “Saul, Saul, why are you persecuting Me?”

5 And he said, “Who are You, Lord?”

Then the Lord said, “I am Jesus, whom you are persecuting. It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

You need to look up what this means. “It is hard for you to kick against the goads.”

Aunt Kate LOVES to pluck verses from their CONTEXT.

Can you say "CONTEXT", Kate?

I have my doubts.

In verse 7 Paul is quoting a hypothetical argument that someone might use in order to justify lying. Having quoted this argument he then refutes it! There is no way in which, having read the quotation in context, you could honestly accuse Paul of deception.

Peter himself, who PUBLICLY accepted a rebuke from Paul (thereby acknowledging Paul's authority), explained that Paul's writings can be difficult to understand and that untaught and unstable people twist them to their own destruction.

You know... People like auntie Kate here.

Imagine her surprise when she stands before Christ and he asks her, "Why did you attempt to turn people away from My apostle to the Gentiles?" You are a Gentile, Kate. And I turn away from you."

Just a guess, but nonetheless probably something similar to what Kate will hear on J-Day. As James said, "Let not many of you become teachers, knowing that you will receive a stricter judgment."

Have you dismissed the Apostle Luke and his gospel as well? What about the book of Acts he wrote verifying without a doubt the validity of Peter and Paul throughout this Book being true men of God and that salvation is only attained through grace by faith? Acts which proves what happened in Ephesus as referenced in Revelation was due to idol worship regarding Diana and had nothing to do with Paul?

And you see and hear how this fellow Paul has convinced and led astray large numbers of people here in Ephesus and in practically the whole province of Asia. He says that gods made by human hands are no gods at all. There is danger not only that our trade will lose its good name, but also that the temple of the great goddess Artemis will be discredited; and the goddess herself, who is worshiped throughout the province of Asia and the world, will be robbed of her divine majesty.”

Acts of the Apostles, abbreviation Acts, fifth book of the New Testament, a valuable history of the early Christian church. Acts was written in Greek, presumably by St. Luke the Evangelist. The Gospel According to Luke concludes where Acts begins, namely, with Christ’s Ascension into heaven. Acts was apparently written in Rome, perhaps between 70 and 90 CE, though some think a slightly earlier date is also possible.

After an introductory account of the descent of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles at Pentecost (interpreted as the birth of the church), Luke pursues as a central theme the spread of Christianity to the Gentile world under the guiding inspiration of the Holy Spirit. The conversion of St. Paul and his subsequent missionary journeys are given a prominent place because this close associate of Luke was the preeminent Apostle to the Gentiles. Without Acts, a picture of the primitive church would be impossible to reconstruct; with it, the New Testament letters of St. Paul are far more intelligible. Acts concludes rather abruptly after Paul has successfully preached the gospel in Rome, then the acknowledged centre of the Gentile world.

Re: Does Paul Fail the Deuteronomy 13 Test?
Paul’s an admitted liar, I’ve tossed him.

I’ll stick with Peter’s (the ROCK) teachings instead, Yahshua hand picked him when He was still with us.

Matthew 16:18-19
18 And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
19 And I will give unto thee the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

Matthew 7:25
25 And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Ezekiel 3:18
18 When I tell the wicked, ‘You will surely die;’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; that wicked man will die in his iniquity; but I will require his blood at your hand.

Proof?

And some like to play psychological mind "games" adapting the same techniques that Paul's writings are well-seen doing. Turning things, spinning them around. Creating something out of what was never intended to be. Creating a NEW religion, a BETTER one!

Paul was doing exactly what he said, lying to people.

1 Corinthians 9:20-22
20 And unto the ]€Ws I became as a ]€W, that I might gain the ]€Ws; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

21 To them that are without law, as without law, (being not without law to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law.

22 To the weak became I as weak, that I might gain the weak: I am made all things to all men, that I might by all means save some.

Kate,

Read 1 John 1:19. From the NIV, "They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us."

You're attacking the wrong people. Where did we get the words of Jesus but from the apostles. How many that came after the apostles were following the words of Jesus? John says "none of them belonged to us." If you count out Paul, you count out someone who Jesus commissioned to be his twelfth disciple and was persecuted and killed for his faith.

Even while the disciples lived, corruption was taking over the church and when did it end? It won't until the eternal church arrives. John also wrote in that letter that you can tell who is an "antichrist" by the words they present. Any words from anyone who came after the apostles, MUST support the words of the disciples because their words were obtained from eyewitness testimony and the Holy Spirit's interaction. Paul was one of those who knew Jesus AND knew the eyewitnesses and they accepted his testimony so why can't you?

Blessings, jaz
Mauler1
