two opposing processes, but a common consciousness ~granted~ I can only see that the sex would be great and they could communicate very well psychically but how could they possibly function fruitfully in day to day life with such contradictory motives?!!

Wouldn't work. A lightworker might be simply described as someone who seeks to give, to help others without care of the same in return, while a darkworker is briefly described as someone who seeks to receive at the exclusion of giving, which might imply they would make a perfect couple, but that's not really the whole story. No description is going to be perfect, and I'm a bit tired, but I'll try.

A lightworker seeks to give all of themselves to benefit others, in varied ways. Because everything in life is a matter of balance, a lightworker receives "payment" in knowing that they've done everything in their power to help others. A darkworker is known for taking all they can. In return, a darkworker gives chaos, out of which new things can grow. By taking everything they can, they create a vacuum that can then be filled by new things. This "vacuum" can take a number of forms, only limited by your imagination, but they can be physical or spiritual. If you've ever dealt with a darkworker and been left hurt or drained, you'll recognize how that experience helped you grow later on.

The problem with a pairing of light/darkworkers lies in the fact that they effectively nullify each other, versus balancing each other. Think of opposite points on a circle. The rest of us fall somewhere between light/darkworkers, with a tendency towards one point or the other. If you move those two points together so they become one, the circle disappears.

In effect, the transfer of energy ceases to happen, and because that's impossible, one of two things has to happen. Either they repel each other with stunning power, or they destroy each other. They can attempt it, but something has to give.

Why? Back to the "payment". A lightworker receives payment by knowing they're helping others. A darkworker receives payment knowing they're helping themselves. Giving continuing effort to a darkworker won't satisfy a lightworker, the darkworker will always be able to take more. Conversely, a darkworker cannot be satisfied by a lightworker, because they cannot receive the pleasure of knowing they've exhausted everything the lightworker had to give.

As before, there are two possiblilities, they either repel each other violently, or they're effectively taken out of the equation, because they'll spend all their effort giving and taking, and it will destroy both. Actually, there's a third, possibility, but it's probably pretty rare. The lightworker and darkworker would cease to be. Caught in a self-destructive loop (remember, a darkworker seeks destruction, but not their own destruction), it's possible they could "throw" each other out of their respective positions, so that neither is at the extreme anymore.

However, there's a problem. Both would remember the extreme pleasure they found in their old positions, and while it's a means of survival, it would satisfy neither, and either they'd secretly despise each other, or eventually they'd be drawn to return to their former selves. Essentially, moving from the extremes only slows/delays the onset of the other two results.

Like I said, I'm tired, and human speech is somewhat poor at describing spiritual matters. However, I hope it helps you visualize the matter. Honestly, this really isn't an issue, light/darkworkers have an innate understanding of this, and it's an issue that virtually never arises. It's more of an issue to those who are close, but not at the extremes of these points on the circle. After all, "love" is a two way street, and by it's nature, such love is best when both individuals are balanced with give and take efforts.

It's obvious enough, a true lightworker cannot fall in love, that would demand that they receive from another. And a true darkworker cannot love, it would mean giving to another. Perhaps nearly nothing, but that's still far too much for either.

Quick clarification now that I'm logged in and read it again. The destroying both part is literal. At best, after considerable time trying to fill and feed each other's energies, they will forget the pleasure they once felt. As such, they will move away from the extremes, and no longer be light/darkworkers. Again, it's likely that eventually they'll return, it's the state they were drawn to as individuals, and only the pairing pulled them away. No longer opposites, they'll lose what attracted them in the first place, that draw to the opposite extreme, and as their attraction weakens, they will be drawn back to their former desires.

Again, this is mostly hypothetical, it doesn't happen in reality to this degree, they have a natural aversion to each other. However, it's more likely that their destruction would take a far more serious form, their focus on each other would be so extreme that they would exhaust themselves trying to interact, to the exclusion of everything else. A lightworker tends to only take in the food they need, and that only to continue their work. Faced with the extreme opposite, a lightworker would want to fill the darkworker's needs so badly that even items necessary for survival would eventually be offered, and the body would perish. The darkworker, having tasted extreme giving, would no longer be satisfied taking from normal people, and realizing that the "relationship" was unlikely to ever happen again, would seek to end their own existence, "getting out" would be the only pleasure remaining that they could take from the world.

Again, it's hypothetical, they'd both likely realize this long before it got to this point, if there were any serious attraction to begin with.

Sounds like someone has been watching reruns of Charmed.
"You've felt it your entire life, that there's something wrong with the world. You don't know what it is, but it's there, like a splinter in your mind, driving you mad.

“The war we fight today is more than a military conflict,” Mr Bush said. “It is the decisive ideological struggle of the 21st century.”

You are a slave..., like everyone else you were born into bondage. Into a prison that you cannot taste or see or touch. A prison for your mind."

Re: do lightworkers ever fall in love with darkworkers?
best relationship is two lightworkers and one darkworker in threesome because the circle would still be full non nullified and yet there would be a darkworker who'd most likely motivate LW to grow even more. but, that happens all the time in the world...

Well, talking about love

Darkworkers can change their path more easily if they are already polarized stong enough, because, the stronger and more developed you are in one direction, you are more easily capable for the change to the other direction, so...It could be helpful relationship for both. I don't say it's good, turning darkworker to lightworker if he/she has already chosen his/her's path, but...If this Earth is going to become a 4th density planet positive in its vibrational and energetic network in which person must balance its mental/physic/spiritual in positive vibration, , then this relationshio could be very beautiful, creative and one form of artistic exctasy. But, i'll cut the crap now

i want to say just one more thing - lighworkers are somewhat attracted to darkworkers for some strange reason. It's been my case. In the end this connection can be very harmful for both if you are not careful, because you can both end up confused, with minimal shift from base polarity. that's the main problem and it takes a lot of wisdom and strenght to get pass the problems, but the reward is much much greater if you come out of the ''romantic'' or whatever relationship stronger and even more if it grows because it's bringing out new and never before seen stuff.Just follow your intuition, that's my advice. But it can happen, and it happens all the time. Have you seen some strange relationship in the magazines, or in the movies. Or read irvine welsh

The light triggers the darkness until there is no more darkness left. Usually the dark cannot handle the light because they have not healed the self. The light can burn if one gets too much of the sun and not too many people like to get burnt.

We are are burning up the weeds.

Just to comment, as my experience also is one of lightworker/darkworker mutual attraction -- it seems possible for one person to simultaneously be 'lightworker' at one level and a darkworker at another -- for example my husband is a very giving person in 3-d and most people think very highly of him, but from a 4-d perspective he is feeding me (energetically) to his mother
in order to sustain whatever she is (not human, for sure) . . . so actually from his mother's 4-d perspective he is a lightworker on that level too, but from my perspective he is a darkworker . . . but underneath all that there do seem to be agreements that were put in place long ago for good and sufficient reason, that we are both compelled to honor . . . we do have a very special relationship . . .

This is my life. It is torturous and feels like a neverending battle just trying to love someone designed to destroy everything I care about. Does the idea of different face, same demon stand to be true? I believe so. Self-sabotage comes to mind. Knowing the one you share your life with wants nothing but evil and negativity to engulf our lives. It feels hopeless. I honestly dont have the understanding or ability to make any decisions to improve my situation. I have been conditioned to fear people and distrust everything. I DONT KNOW WHAT IS REAL. IS THIS MY PUNISHMENT FOR PAST SINS OR AM I TO LEARN AND GROW FROM THIS LIVING HELL?

Re: do lightworkers ever fall in love with darkworkers?
Some people here are confused and are mistaking empathic and narcissist people as lightworkers and dark workers...

Everyone shines and takes light.

A light worker takes light. It's human. Unless you are living in a cave mastering yoga, turning into light, you are not an absolute lightworker.

Same with dark work, you are going to shine light whether you like it or intend to or not. It's not always up to you how other people utilize your presence. If someone perceives you in a way that illuminates them in some way, you are giving light. Sometimes, also dark deeds can cause light to arrive... From pain comes strength.

Point is you can't always control how your actions effect the world. Waves are waves, their effects are not up to you.
What's going on, and why isn't it coming off?

It would be a passionate power play
The dark worker being of self
And light worker being of others

So it would be the perfect dominate and submissive in bed scenario
