Back in the 1990s I had to refuse to have an MRI because I couldn't sign the waiver, that said I could go blind from the MRI, because I had worked as a machinist, and might have tiny metal particles in my eyes, from grinding metals.

I'm careful of magnetic fields, because cancers have been shown to grow faster in magnetic fields. That's why I always put my cell phone on Airplane mode before putting it in my pocket, and keep it away from my body when using it.
