A significant number of the ones 50 and under that I have met in the last 10 years and the weird part is they proudly tell you almost right off the bat as if they are proud of the accomplishment or something. It is weird.

It all started post Afghanistan/Iraq 2 time. Some IED injuries, but largely mental problems from going from being bored to tears to highest of high adrenaline rushes in a split second over and over again. It is like they can't reset to the quiet. Then you mix all that in with intense guilt and self-loathing problems.

The vietnam vets if they had their legs hit with a mine or were blinded or something they would get it but if you had 4 limbs you didn't get squat. Now is a whole different story. Now it seems it is cheaper to give them a big huge pile of pills and a nice monthly check. There again the US military budget is 3x the next highest chinese budget and 10x the russian budget... The whole situation is a crime.
