This is called conditioning people to lay down and die to the psychos the libtards let loose on the streets.

yeahsure here's the problem. The victim did not attack anyone. You don't get to kill someone just because he is having an unstable mental episode.

Has not gone to trial yet, the State Prosecutor issued an indictment which means the State is going to take him to court. The Judge will call him in and see what he pleads and if he says "innocent", a trial date will be set up.

Just another reason that cements the fact that we are in a Civil War...it's just not official called that yet.

"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear."

This guy fucked up. He watched too much MMA and didn't know what he was doing

If he was going to use a sleeper hold on the guy it only takes 10 seconds.

In less than a minute the guy could easily have been brain dead. It cuts off blood to the brain.

This isn't a choke hold cutting off air.

This is easily gross negligence
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80757465

Does that count if the bum is already braindead?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72610351

I'm not judging right or wrong but this guy will need to take a plea, especially in NYC

The prosecution will have experts that will testify to exactly what a reverse choke hold does and how holding it longer than 30 seconds could mean death and the likelihood increases by the second

This guy held him for 5 minutes

This exactly. The solution to this problem is
NEVER call the authorities when you have problems like this.
Deal with it and disappear from the scene, never talk about the incident again.

I'm stunned that anyone would have called the police when everyone KNOWS that the system will crucify those who are honorable and doing their best to protect the innocent from harm.

The state of New York killed the subway mental guy. When the police are defunded by politicians and criminally insane individuals are let loose onto the street then the people have no other choice but to defend themselves.

You people are strange.

He killed someone who did not try to attack or kill anyone else. Someone threatening or acting crazy does not justify their murder.

I agree with the submission hold, but why didn't he let up?

Common sense says that he took it too far. Now he is facing the consequences of his bad decision.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78832094

You have no damn moral ground to stand on if you tend to be less resentful of a perp/thug who murders his victim.

BTW, Adolf Hitler and his regime declared that compassion should be the leading trait of Germany and the German people.

What is it with you "leftys" such as Adolf, etc?

What the hell is wrong with you?

BTW, how's the sociopathic liberalism going?

No we wouldn't. The military has shown numerous times that they'll obey orders to kill civilians. For example the Ludlow Massacre, Kent State, etc.

What's going to bring this guy down is how long he held the chokehold - long after the black guy was already unconscious. Don't choke someone out if you're not trained in how to do it properly and when to let go.

The best thing to do is to look the other way when someone is in trouble or just stay home and avoid this kind of bullshit.

I bet any of those jurors would want someone to come to their aid if they were in trouble, and I sure hope this sends a strong message to any good samaritan "NOT TO ENGAGE" when they see someone in distress.

Well, the "samaritan" did kill the guy, didn't he?

Because he was too stupid to know he wasn't able to intelligently and correctly use a chokehold without killing the person.... but he probably thought he was going to be the hero of the day...

He restrained a drug-addled criminal that should have been in jail. The criminal was threatening to kill people on public transportation. Since law enforcement and the justice system failed to keep this felonious thug off the streets, he had to be restrained.

For cowardly snivelers like this AC who can't imagine stepping in to protect women and children from aggressive thugs, justice is a great mystery.

Remember, the Samaritan from the Bible didn't kill anyone.

Quite to the contrary, he let his heart speak and felt compassion for the injured man.

Using the word "samaritan" in this context as the MSM did is pretty cynical.

But killed?

This is a case of force used non proportional to the attack.

Wrong, the subject clearly had a propensity to use serious violence against women, and has seriously injured a number of women in the recent past. With crazies/druggies/ect
you don't know exactly what they are going to do at any given time, so you have to expect the worst, Mr. Penny acted rationally and reasonably considering the circumstances.
What if Mr. Penny released this savage and he ended up killing someone in that train car? He'd then be accused of not doing enough to stop the killer.

The real Good Samaritan did not kill anyone, you fool.

It is curious how the Bible's messages are routinely being distorted here.

So many of you know how to quote or use elements from the Bible yet use them in a way such as to completely alter their meaning.

You know "WHO" is at work here.... don't you?
