But this is just overall, as it’s not the same texture or flavor.

I don’t eat out a lot but every so often I grab supper out as n time to cook.

But it always ends up the same.

Feeling sick to my stomach and not satisfied with the taste.

Next time I will just throw a simple homemade spaghetti dinner together.

I now keep it on hand for those busy evenings..

Chicken noodle soup is okay.

But I have bitten into a chicken sandwich and felt it was not cooked cooked.

Like it was 5 minutes away from being fully cooked.

But that’s the least of their problems.

They all eventually turn to shit. Wendys did. I grew up eating the original Culvers on every trip to Devil's Lake from Madison. Garbage now too.

of course the chicken isn't as good on average, you can't franchise and supply the whole country otherwise. The saturation of CFA is a fairly newer thing.

Given the needed capital for franchisees, regardless of the chicken/food supplier quality, you'll get good service of mediocre chicken, although the relatively new addition of mac & cheese is really good.

However, the cost of the good service is high, over $20 for 2 normal meals (grilled chicken club meal with mac is $15). I think business will drop significantly above that price so expect further product quality reductions to maintain margins.

Culver's is still really good when the franchisee is good and can attract competent staff, but not as reliable as CFA as it doesn't seem the corporate part has deep pockets like them or the high standards for franchising. Culver's doesn't even have an app, though you can order on the website (at some but not all stores).

Occasionally, a client or vendor will bring a few boxes to a breakfast meeting... I've eaten a little of that once or twice & have been distinctly underwhelmed.

Haven't been to one of their stores in forever.
