Quoting: pish MANY non prestigious jobs...Pizza place (dishwasher, cook, cashier, bartender). McDonalds(only job I ever quit). Costco. Started pushing carts, cashier(yet again), welded?!?(Those carts needed fixing!), forklift driver... Said Fuck that, and went into Healthcare... Became a X-ray tech, got cross trained into CT(Catscan), and then picked up MRI, also do IR procedures... So now I'm a manager... I have a flow of students from prestigious universities, and programs in my area... They are generally TERRIBLE! Go-getting is obviously out of fashion (especially after covid since they did mostly online schooling, and NO clinical applications.) I honestly dont get it! I have students sitting around...watching things...doing nothing, and then at the end they are like "Do you think I can get a job here" LOL Meanwhile there are some that are amazing...jumping right in to start IVs, prep the room, load contrast, examine orders to make sure its correct, and do the exams..., they understand the workflow. We literally teach them everthing they need to succeed, yet they ignore? all the signs!?! Its just amazing the competency/intelligence level displayed in the workforce today. I interview all potential employees, and its staggering how bad some of them are. Im sure its a similar situation in other fields, and lines of work...the applicants are just BAD. you seem like a horrible person to work for, that odd combination of low-iq/kiss-ass/entitlement that people of your generation have. You expect people to dedicate their lives to whatever shit opportunity your corporate betters have to offer. absolutely no opportunity for anyone unless their family is intact and relatively well off. All the profits of the last 50 years have gone to investors which they spend on single family homes and other things driving up costs on everything. But as for you, you are a low-iq scumbag that was given a position of authority and now uses that to make everyone's lives miserable. Tyranny of low-iq middle management, it's endemic across society and dumb losers like yourself make working anywhere absolutely awful which is why you idiots need to import slaves to work for you. conditions quite ripe for a blowback to this system you have created we'll see if all the drugs and porn is anathema, I'd like to see scumbags like yourself get what's what. |

They've got 6 figure uni debt, Min wage does not cover rent, they were raised during a war and a collapsing economy etc etc. Food and shelter are not small things, and your basically seeing the divide between those who still byy into the "work hard and you'll get noticed" and the reality of "everyone is replaceable".
