Quoting: Anonymous Coward 85582275 It's hotter in the north than in the south. So I guess the bugs follow the heat. I'm in Quebec and a couple days ago they had 35c in fucking Kuujjuaq. ticks crawl about as fast as a slug. How do they 'follow the heat'? The extreme cold of the winters up north kills them off. Historically there have NEVER been ticks up north. THEY are spreading them. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72530568 And not just a few - hundreds! I think they were using the fake wild fire smoke to air drop millions of ticks in northern communities to spread disease. op, how is the firefighting going up there? |

I know people up there and they have had smoke for months and months all the way back to early spring. Sudbury and North Bay. The only place I've lived where ticks were ALWAYS a big problem was Minn. You had to check for ticks every time you went into the woods or even your lawns; except in MPLS. There are ticks in Ontario, and MT, but I can't really remember ever seeing on in either place; not like Minn; and I don't recall EVER HAVING to check for ticks in N.Ont or MT. They have always been there op; this year they could be much worse, or you just noticed them, or like your claims about no fires in N Ontario, you are either full of it or lying. |

These little bastards will destroy your life if you get infected. I have several friends with serious chronic issues ranging from severe joint pains, extreme exhaustion, headaches, stomach aches, brain fog, cardiac dysrhythmias (Afib), and even death. This is really a serious problem. The test for these tick borne illnesses are terrible with only 90% actually test positive even though you have the virus. There is another test that is DNA based however costs about $900. The testing will have a false negative response. Based on what I am seeing, tick borne illness very well could be the BIGGEST medical issue to date. Maybe this is why the testing is so poor. If the tests were accurate hundreds of thousands of people will test positive. Please be careful. Some of the ticks are so very tiny, like a pepper flake. If you or your family gets bit and they develop "flu like sypmptoms" 24-72 hours later, and/or develop are reddened area, please please please take them to the doctors immediately to get antibiotics. There is a small window to catch and kill the virus. Usually Doxycycline will be used for 30 days to kill the virus. Currently there is NO CURE if it gets deep seats and you miss the window. For those that have these listed symptoms above and believe you may be infected or know you have a tick borne illness please try this regiment. I found this from Dr. Berg on Youtube. You have to take this regiment for 2 months. 1) Garlic pills 2) Eat garlic in food (a lot) 3) Olive Leaf Extract 4) Eat a lot of onion. 5) Chlorella or Chlorella Plus 6) Colloidal Silver Take all this everyday for 2 months. My son contracted Lyme when he was little. We did this regiment for 2 months and honestly it's night and day. He hasn't complained about anything for weeks. For those of you suffering, I know it sucks. Please try this recipe. |

There is lots of smoke, but no vast areas of burned out forests that I can see. Smoke smells like burning chemicals, not a wood fire. I lived near the buffalo border when I was a kid and we never saw a tick growing up. They just showed up about 20 years ago. |

When will some brave soul in the medical establishment try silver ions as an alternative? The continued overuse of antibiotics has virtually assured the eventual emergence of a lethal airborne superbug. WHEN ALEXANDER FLEMING came back from a Scottish vacation in the summer of 1928 to find his London lab bench contaminated with a mold called Penicillium notatum, he kicked off a new age of scientific sovereignty over nature. Since then, the antibiotics he discovered and the many more he inspired have saved millions of lives and spared immeasurable suffering around the globe. But from the moment it started, scientists knew the age of antibiotics came stamped with an expiration date. They just didn’t know when it was. Learn how to make colloidal silver Stay away from all the snake oil salesmen. Very few of them have any idea what they’re making and selling. There is no need to buy any particular thing from any specific supplier. I have started a new thread here on GLP. I once saw a tick crawling to my foot.. biting it. I felt the bite, and taking a huge amount of blood - in 10-20seconds. It was crazy. I wasn't expecting that. I killed it. This happened in my apartment in Canada. Go figure. ![]() |
