Had a plugged left ear for two weeks.

I had the same thing this spring. It took about six weeks to go away.

Have you tried hydrogen peroxide? Usually does the trick for me. You may hear a lot of "popping noise" when you initially put the hydrogen peroxide in - totally normal. It stops after a few minutes.

Its probably wax in your ear. Like other guy said hydro perox will usually help.

In the shower, tilt your head and allow the warm to hot water irrigate the ear.

You need to do this for a good 60-90 seconds.

For fun, plug your bath drain and find large chunks of ear wax floating in the

water.

use garlic oil for ears.

Squirt your ear with a very mild solution of bleached water or go to the doctor and the nurse will do it for you.

It may be fluid build up in your inner ear if you haven't been able to clear the wax build up. Could be it's not wax at all.

Or it could be hard compacted wax that won't loosen up without someone removing it physically. Best to go to a doctor for this. You could rupture your eardrum.

Sounds like you have "COVID Ear."

They blamed everything on COVID-19, including the absurd "COVID Toes," so why not, right?

Benadryl or antihistmine tablets will help with the allergies and you don't need to see the doctor.

Hold both nostrils closed and gently blow out through the nose until both ears feel like you have to pop them. Then let go of your nose and slowly open the jaw popping the ears. This has worked for me on many occasions...my ex had bad ears and her doctor told her to do that technique. Sometimes you have to do it more than once and don't blow to hard.

If the hydroxide dont work its compacted and you need to get it syringed or vacuumed out. I got mined suck out and it was quick and effective, i left it plugged way to long which caused more problems.

could be allergies. the smoke may be a culprit if you live in certain areas.

take some cetirizine and Flonase for 1 month. see if that clears it up. both otc. if not you might need an ent.

im am living through it. not much i can do i have immune dysfunction with certain allergies. it causes things to puff a little more than needed. its hives, not inflammation.

the vestibular system is interesting.

I constantly have fluid in one ear with ear aches, Doc says I may need to use a small tube usually used in children to drain the the thing over time. Balance is way off in some directions.

Had any dizziness? Coughing, itchiness, ringing or odor discharge?? Diminished hearing..people telling you that you are talking loud?

All symptoms of ear wax build up.

BTW you can now get reasonably priced home ear wax removal tools. They do work, I have had excessive ear wax buildup for 40 years, and I use them once a year.
