Fresh ingredients minus the hormones, antibiotics and fillers introduced into the food supply these days.


I worked at BK around 1980 as a kid.

Open on Sundays, fresh grease in the fryer .. cleaned grill .. some of the best burgers were made on Sunday mornings.

We have a franchise BK in my local town, they only have to use the sauces and certain bits. His buns are always stale, the cheese is never melted, basically more lettuce than anything else

I think that people's sense of taste has changed. I have a niece who just raves about this pizza place. It is called "Mod" pizza. She goes on and on about it so I went and tried it. Honestly, a Totino's from the 7-11 in a microwave would be better. I remember real pizza. It is not even available anymore, at any price. But people rave about things that they think is good. I cannot believe the drive-thru line at McPuke.

I stopped at a Burger King 2 weeks ago and had a whopper meal.

The place was run totally by young people of Asian descent.

It was super clean inside. Immaculate.

And the food was perfect. The burger looked like the burger on the ad. And the fries were also perfect. Or as close to perfect as their fries get.

I don’t touch take away food anymore.

Maybe fish and chips the odd times. And pizza from the local.

I noticed last week the big chains, yelp or similar, have one $ in price that matches many non-chains for price and theres are at $$ and I know same price around ten dollars.....Yelp info misleading discrepancies regarding same prices, yet Wendy's and mcDs are showing only one cash sign. THAT, I AM SICK of the fakes, hard to find genuine.

When I was a kid the Whopper and western bacon cheeseburger were my favorites. A few years ago I went to Burger King for the first time in years just for nostalgia sake, and the food tasted like shit.

I go to Burger King occasionally and their burgers still taste good to me. The prices have gone up recently, but I'm no too affected by them because I usually just get a whopper and a water. It's the soft drinks and fries that seem ridiculously priced nowadays.

even Mcdonalds and Burger King which I could get sometimes overseas were NOT the same. Just nasty. I dont eat fast food in the US, anymore.

That's because US food contains ingredients banned in other countries. So when you eat a Big Mac in the US it'll be full of preservatives and other shit, whilst a Big Mac in France will be more "natural".

Agreed. Used to love Whoppers. Did you know in recent years that the buns on Whoppers were ruled by a court to not even legally be allowed to be called BREAD becuz they are so fake and have so much sugar in them? I stopped eating there completely when I read that.

Now i only eat Wendy's when I need fast food.

I used to love the BK Broiler in the 90s. Too bad it went away.

Hardee's used to have good burgers. Now their buns and burgers are the absolute worst. I'm suprised it's in business.
