My 73 year old mom has shingles in her eye and it has been terrible for her...

I begged her not to get the vaxx (no boosters) but she want to be able to "go on cruises"

I got shingles about 4 years ago. Get the vaccine. Shingles sucl.They make your bones ache, organs itch, and they are just very exhausting.

The vaccine doesn't stop you from getting shingles. In fact most people that get shingles have the shot. Look into it.

Yep, my doctor told me it was only 60% effective, having said that I have had shingles and it wasn't fun, and I'm still thinking about whether I should get the vax or not.

I had shingles and it hurt really badly. But I'd never get vaccinated for it. Who cares if you get shingles. Bad things in life happen. And when they happen temporarily that's a good thing. Why would anyone get vaccinated for a temporary problem. Yes I know in rare cases it can cause serious issues but who's ever heard of someone who's that happened too that's really rare. Fucking pussys get shingles vaxxes

I had shingles in 2020 and it sucked but I'd gladly go through it all again before I'd ever inject myself with their magical concoction.

Take lysine daily. It will keep the virus dormant. Much more effective than a vaccine.

I will never take another shot as long as I live. They were awful desperate to inject us with some BS and don’t you think they would put it in other vaccines?

I had shingles when I was 18... just an itchy spot on my back for a week or so... doctor have me prednisone which I didn't even take and it went away.

The Shingrix vaccine came out around 2017, I think, and went through normal extensive clinical trials unlike the clot shot. Also, unlike the clot shot, it's not an MRNA vax. It has a 96.6% efficacy in your age group.

Like you, I had chickenpox when I was a kid and I’ve seen people that got shingles and I damn sure did not want it. So I got the vaccine years ago. You get it in two doses several weeks apart as I recall. It knocks you on your ass for about 24 hours after each shot.

I got it right when it came out and so far no shingles. Yay.

I am loath to get any more vaccines though. I don't trust them at all at this point.
