Has anyone done Ketamine Therapy for anxiety/depression?

Also, what is it like? LSD or Shrooms? Neither?

Yep... A really good childhood friend who has struggled with addiction, death of a Brother (he caused) and the anxiety and depression issues.

I feel like if he does not find something soon he will not live much longer.

He'd be better off talking to a good therapist.

Yeah, not sure about that... He has been on a SSRI for 23 years, Paxil and then Lexapro, they just want to keep increasing the dose.

I have a hard time with an "Educated" person trying to talk to someone about something they have never been through.

A group called MAPS has the lead in US for psychedelic therapies, MDMA is also used for PTSD along with Psilocybin.

It's usually psychiatrists that do sessions with it, one near me in NW California charges $100 or takes Medi-cal benefits.

All of these usually give a reset of sorts though in different ways.

I enjoy ketamine therapy. I haven't done it in a few weeks.

The trip is very spiritual. I experienced ego death.

My pain is more manageable.

The people talking shit in here are clueless.

I have had friends that had great luck with it.

You have to go to the correct kind of practitioner that kows how to lead you on a spiritual journey while under the influence of the drug.

I know someone that did k-lite, as in, not a full dose and not a full series of dosing. They were experiencing deep emotional issues from a break-up.

They said it was a dream state with vivid imagery and amazing sounds. Felt as if they were floating. They were surround by friends that carried them along a path and through a field.

They are kind of a control freak and didnt fully enjoy "letting go", so they only did one session.

Make sure that your friend gets a well versed and experienced practitioner.

I tried a small line of ket under an inch long changed my mindset of long standing deep depression over night. It worked for me. Not suggesting you do it of course. Beware of getting a habit as it crystalizes in the bowl and is irreversible.
